I don't know how reliable this information is, but if it is true, it will make a lot of wrestling fans very happy.

According to, Bret Hart has signed a deal with WWE that will span about four months.

"The WWE Hall of Famer signed the deal this past week and it will cover the period from 1/1 to 4/10, or through WrestleMania and about two weeks after the 3/28 show at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, AZ."

This could mean many different things.  This could mean a guest host spot on Raw for sure, but what else?

Could Bret be in for a short run as GM of Smackdown? Or maybe when they re-brand ECW, he could run that.

Maybe he will manage the Hart Dynasty to their first tag titles, which would be awesome.

Jim Neidhart was recently quoted as saying the WWE is working on a Hart Foundation DVD and that he just wrapped interviews for it.  This could be to help promote that DVD.

Nothing has been confirmed by WWE yet, but the source is said to be reliable.  This could certainly help WWE's stagnant ratings as of late.

A Hitman return would bring in many viewers who may have left in recent years.  Rumors have been around for a while now about Bret making some WWE appearances, but this could be the break in the case we have been waiting for.

What do you guys think of the possibility of a Bret Hart return to a non-wrestling role?
