Since his break out game of the season November 21st in a loss to the Nuggets where he scored 28 points, Derrick Rose has been gaining momentum.  It seems as if Vinny is finally letting him play in the fourth quarter, and although the teams record doesn't show it, Derricks growth in the last 12 games has been monumental.  Cutting and thrashing his way through the paint, Rose is proving he is not only one of the fastest players in the league, but he can get hot as well.  In his 27 point performance against the Nets he went 13-23 with 7 rebounds and 10 assists.  This is the Derrick Rose Chicago needs.  With Noah at the top, or close to it, of the league in boards, and Luol Deng performing the way he has, this team with the right coaching could pull a nice winning streak together.  The key is, coaching. But that is a topic for tomorrows article!!
