Fantasy NFL Daily Haze: Week 15 Waiver Wire Thoughts

Did everyone survive the first weekend of the fantasy playoffs? Of course not.
For those of us who did, however, there is work to be done this week. Like last week, there will be plenty of fantasy playoff coverage around here for public consumption. Feel free to have firsts, seconds, and thirds if you like.
Consider sharing with a friend, too, just not one in your fantasy football league. Because that would be unsmart.
A few running backs worth checking out on the waiver wire this week if available in your league:
- Chris Jennings, RB, Browns [73-1]
- Reggie Bush, RB, Saints [33; 6-46-2]
- Jason Snelling, RB, Falcons [37-1; 4-65]
- Jermichael Finley, TE, Packers [5-70]
- Ryan Moats, RB, Texans [43-1]
Quick hits on the players above: Jennings, not Jerome Harrison, played best against the Steelers, but it's still hard to trust any Browns' player...Bush was a stud on Sunday with two scores, but may only retain value if Mike Bell continues to sit...Snelling filled in nicely for Michael Turner again, but would become an afterthought upon Turner's return...Finley is a decent plug-and-play option at tight end going forward...Moats figures to benefit the most from the Steve Slaton absence.
Here are today's great reads:
- It might not be a good idea to cut any of these guys right now, but it might be a good idea to avoid using them if possible. [Bruno Boys]
- Some, including many on the Panthers' defense, are beginning to wonder if Randy Moss is shutting it down during games again. [Shutdown Corner]
- Brandon Marshall set a new NFL record with 21 catches yesterday against the Colts. Can you say PPR monster? [Pro Football Reference]
- The Colts locked up home-field advantage with a win against Marshall's Broncos, which means Colts Watch 2009 has begun for fantasy owners. [CBSSports.com]
- Quinton Ganther may have been a popular waiver wire add late last week in fantasy leagues. If he was not picked up in your league then, he will be a very popular want this week. [FanHouse]
