To be recognized to go to the Pro-Bowl is a tremendous honor. In recent years many players that have been selected to be an All-Star are not very deserving of it like: Roy Williams when he was on the Cowboys in the 2007 season and Brett Favre in the 2008 season. So I made a list for all you Pro-Bowl voters showing which players you should have an eye on and deserving of a Pro-Bowl under their belt.
This man deserves a lot of credit for what he has done this year on the football field. So far the only receiver getting recognized on the Vikings is rookie Percy Harvin, but if you compare both players stats Sidney Rice is the better receiver he is 5th in the league in receiving with 63 catches 1036 yards 4 TDs and averaging a whopping 16.4 yards a catch going into week 13.
Vernon Davis is playing better then any other tight end in the NFC he has 10 touchdown receptions going into week 14 along with 63 catches for 781 yards. He should be a starter for the NFC team and no one has said a thing about how well he is doing.
In my opinion Keith Brooking has been the most underrated linebacker this decade. So far i have not heard his name come up once when you are talking about best middle linebackers in the league and I think he has proved he is one of them. 2009 stats going in to week 14: 85 tackles 3.0 sacks.
When you are talking about best safeties in the AFC all you here is Ed Reed and Kerry Rhodes, but Mike Brown of the Chiefs is playing like a Kerry Rhodes he is one of the most underrated defensive backs in the NFL and has great stats on the year going into week 14 with 70 tackles 2.0 sacks and 3 interceptions.
Ever since Ronnie Brown was put on the Injured Reserve list Ricky Williams took action. Ricky Williams is back to his old form like he was in the early 2000's he is the best running back over 30 in the NFL. He will break 1000 yards this year. Going into week 14 he has 172 carries for 867 yards along with 9 rushing touchdowns and 2 receiving touchdowns.
DeAngelo Williams is one of the most explosive players in football and no one cares. He went over 1000 yards last year and let the league in rushing touchdowns and never went to Hawaii. He is back to similar form this year with 197 carries 1022 rushing yards 7 rushing touchdowns and averaging 5.2 yards a carry!
Number 91 for the Chiefs is coming off a career game with 10 tackles 3.0 sacks 2 forced fumbles while going up against the best linemen in the NFL Ryan Clady on the Broncos. He is very deserving of a Pro-Bowl making an Elvis Dumervil like transition from Defensive End to Linebacker. On the season going into week 14 Hali has 51 tackles 6.5 sacks and 4 forced fumbles.
London Fletcher is a tackle machine! He is the only good player on the Redskins and is getting no recognition. He is 3rd in the NFL in tackles with 109 along with 2.0 sacks 1 forced fumble and 1 interception.
Will Smith is becoming one of the best pass rushers in the NFL. He is 5th in the NFL in sacks and a key part to the Saints defense. He has 10.0 sacks going into week 14 with 36 total tackles.
This guy should have gone to the Pro-Bowl last year and should this year. He has one of the NFL's best passer rating and has 25 touchdown passes and over 3000 yards passing going into week 14.
