For Husker fans who were worried about the future of the Nebraska offense, you can breath just a tad easier, both for the short-term, and long.

Offensive Coordinator Shawna Watson (sorry, couldn't resist) announced on Thursday that Joe Ganz, the former Cornhuskers Quarterback, will be on staff next season as an 'offensive intern'.

“It’s going to be awesome having Joe around,” Watson said. “He’ll be an intern on the offensive side of the ball. He’ll help me with the quarterbacks. So I’m looking forward to having him. His character and all of his knowledge — I can’t wait to get him around us.”

So, consider Ganz "Assistant QB Coach" come 2010, or maybe, if The Devil's Advocate is terminated from his contract, perhaps full-time QB Coach?

We can dream.
