Clint Brewster, son of Gophers head coach Tim Brewster, has decided to transfer to another school and continue to play football.  Clint redshirted in 2007 as a true freshman.

Before coming to the Gophers, he was hoping to make a case for the starting quarterback position, but redshirt freshman Adam Weber started all 11 games last year for the Gophers while winning one.

Either Brewster feels like he can't possibly start for the Gophers—who have a crowded quarterback position with Weber, incoming stud Marqueis Gray, senior backup Tony Mortenson, Mike Macajowski (who is a senior), and David Pittman, a JC transfer—or else he knows his dad doesn't know what he is doing and wants to get out before the Gophers endure another depressing autumn.

Update June 20, 2008 -  Clint Brewster announced that he intends to tranfer to a Junior College in California. Brewster will either attend Pasadena City College or College of the Sequoias.
