If I was creating betting odds on who’s the hottest football fan, Jenn Sterger would definitely be a heavy favorite.

The 27-year-old model, actress and television personality came to fame back in 2005 at a Florida State-Miami football game, when a camera panned to a shot of her in the stands, cheering on her beloved Seminoles.

And when announcer Brent Musberger, uttered the phrase, “15,000 red-blooded American men just decided to apply to FSU,” she went from a campus cutie to nothing short of an internet phenomenon within just a few days.

However to her credit, Jenn turned that 15 seconds of fame into a career of modeling and acting. Let’s take a look at Jenn’s meteoric rise from Florida State student, to where she is today.

All American Girl

While you would never notice it here, Jenn Sterger had just a regular, boring American childhood. Born in Miami, she and her family moved several times before settling in the Tampa area when she was young.

Her passion for all things football started like it does for many American girls, in high school. Did she date the quarterback? Nope, she was a drum major in her marching band. Yes a drum major.

Beautiful Mind and Body

After starting off her college career at the University of South Florida, she transferred to Florida State her junior year. She originally came to Tallahassee because of a guy she was dating at the time, but even as the relationship went south, Jenn- over a 4.0 student in high school- remained steady in the classroom. She has dual degrees from the university in psychology and criminology.

Featured in Maxim and Playboy

Within days of that 2005 Florida State-Miami game, and Musberger’s proclamation, Jenn had modeling offers pouring in, as well as requests from Playboy and Maxim to feature her. She was featured in both magazines during 2006.

Needless to say, a planned trip to law school (Which she plans to do) had to be put on hold.

Wrote for S.I.

(During the early part of Jenn’s burgeoning media career, she also briefly wrote a weekly column for Sport Illustrated’s website, in their Wednesday “Scorecard Daily.”

The Jenn-X road Show

Also while at Sports Illustrated, she was featured in a video series, called “The Jenn-X road show,” which visited various college campuses during football season. Here she is, visiting her old stomping grounds at the University of South Florida (And needless to say, the university is still devastated about losing her to FSU after her sophomore year)

ABC’s Race to March Madness

From Sports Illustrated, Jenn moved on to ABC, where hosted a College Basketball studio show, “ABC’s Race to March Madness.” The show, similar to “The Jenn-X road show,” visited college basketball’s top teams as they prepared for that year’s NCAA Tournament. Some campuses that Jenn visited included: Memphis, University of Tennessee, USC, UCLA and Indiana. There is no confirmation if her appearance at these universities led 15,000 males applying there as well.

One of the “20 Hottest Girls on the Internet"

After moving on from Sports Illustrated, Jenn was featured as one of the “20 Hottest Girls on the Internet,” by E! She came in at No. 19, although there is still some confusion how she finished so low on the list, especially behind Tila Tequila.

Gameday Host

In the fall of 2008 Jenn made a metaphoric, and literal jump to the professional ranks, as she became a “Gameday Host,” with the New York Jets.

Sterger arrived in New York the same fall as Brett Favre, and it’s still up for debate as to who had the bigger impact on the team that season.

During her year with the Jets, Sterger hosted a “Keys to the Game,” pregame show, interviewed celebrities and took part in TV timeout and halftime entertainment

Jenn's Recent Films

Recently, Jenn has added a new line to her resume: actress. She starred in two movies in 2009, the first called “The Tenant,” and the second “Don’t Fade Away,” which received rave reviews when it was released at the Cannes Film Festival.

What’s Jenn up to today?

She has moved to New York City full-time, in hopes of becoming a full-time actress. She also runs the highly successful www.JennSterger.com, which features one of the most successful internet diaries currently found online.

Finally, Jenn just recently conducted an interview with ESPN.com’s Page 2, and will be featured in the December issue of Cosmo magazine.
