Josh Carey reports that: Anderson "The Spider" Silva steps back into the Octagon making his debut appearance at Light Heavyweight to take on James "The Sandman" Irvin.

Although, not officially announced by the UFC the event will take place on Sat. July 19th to rival Afflictions first ever fight card featuring Fedor Emelianko vs. Tim Sylvia, Andrei Arlovski, Renato "Babalu" Sobral, and Josh Barnett.

Other rumored bouts are:

  1. Brandon Vera vs. Reese Andy
  2. Frankie Edgar vs. Hermes Franca
  3. Cain Velasquez vs. Jake O'Brien
  4. Anthony Johnson vs. Kevin Burns
  5. Nate Loughran vs. Johnny Rees

  1. I'll defiantly watch the UFC event, just because it's free over the Affliction event. Though the Affliction event will more than likely be better, I'll just watch it on the internet the next day.

  2. You wrote Frankie Edgar vs Hermes France twice. I'd edit it but Opera doesn't work well with this site and aol is a pain in the ass too.

  3. 3 of the fights are set on UFC.com. Silva vs. Irvin, Frankie vs. Hermes, and Johnson vs. Burns.
