After all this time I have finally seen the light Kobe Bryant IS better than Mike, Mike Gminski that is. These finals have certainly proved me wrong after so many arguments, stat fights, and conjecture Kobe Bryant is better than at least one Mike.
His performance in these finals should seal the deal for any doubters out there he can jump higher than Mike, is a better shooter than Mike, a better passer than Mike, has more moves than Mike, and has a better all around game than Mike Gminski, that is.
Enough of the tongue in cheek fun, these finals should, I hope finally, put to rest the absurd argument that Kobe is on the same level or perhaps better than Michael Jordan. Face the facts people, it is just not true.
I know there is a burning desire by some to recreate ala the six million dollar man a player that is faster, stronger, better, but unfortunately players like MJ only come around once in a lifetime.
Anyone who watched these finals and watched MJ play in his day can say without hesitation that MJ is head and shoulders above Kobe Bryant, MJ does NOT lose these types of games.
MJ does not play that badly six games in a row. It just does NOT happen.
As we look forward to basketball again, let us put this ugly footnote of comparison and superiority in favor of Kobe Bryant back where it belongs in the garbage much like his play in the finals.
