The No. 1 nationally-ranked Oswego State men's ice hockey team earned their third straight come-from-behind victory, by a score of 4-2 over Geneseo on Saturday night at the Campus Center Ice Arena in Oswego, NY. The Lakers (10-1-0 overall, 8-0-0 in SUNYAC) have now won nine consecutive games and 10 of 11 to open up the 2009-2010 campaign.

Sophomore Eric Selleck tallied his first game-winning goal of the season during a scramble in front of the net with 8:25 remaining in the third period. The tally, Selleck's ninth on the year, gave the Lakers a 3-2 lead.  They would add an empty-netter by Chris Laganiere with :13 seconds remaining to account for the final score of 4-2.

Senior Kyle Gunn-Taylor won his seventh straight start in net, stopping 15 of 17 shots.  His 7-0-0 record is second in the nation to Adrian's Brad Fogal (10-0-0). There is a good chance that Oswego fans will see those to backstops go head-to-head on Jan. 8 when the Bulldogs visit the Campus Center.

Oswego State has a short two-day rest before traveling to the historic Utica Auditorium to play the Pioneers (4-5-2) on Tuesday night.
