Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators Top of the SEC

The NCAA football season is only a few months away and I'm already excited. I happen to be a Michigan fan but I'm really looking forward to watching the SEC this year. Once again it is the best conference in the country by far.

Although we all know that anything can happen in sports, it appears that you can pencil in the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators as the best teams in the conference. It's too bad that they both play in the SEC East so there is no hope of them playing in the SEC title game.

However, we will get to see them play on Nov. 1 in Jacksonville, Florida. It is a neutral field but the crowd will undoubtedly favor the Gators. I'm guessing that this game will be the deciding factor in the SEC East title. I see these teams ending up 11-1 and 10-2 at the end of the season, obviously with one of those losses coming from this game.

When it comes to the game the key will be defense. Can Georgia stop Heisman winner Tim Tebow and Percy Harvin? Can Florida stop Knowshon Moreno? I see this game being close and coming down to whoever can make the most stops in the fourth quarter. I'm going to give the edge to the Gators because this game for the Bulldogs will be the fourth tough game in a row with no week off in between.

FINAL SCORE: 45-31 Gators!
