With the FIA cutting back on most aspects of Formula One what will be next?

With engine sizes reduced, no in season testing and now spending caps being introduced to the teams i think that the next reduction will be no third drivers for the teams. They are basically redundant already as when the season starts they just have to watch the action unfold from the sidelines.

The FIA need to think out the future of the sport before acting as the sport will soon become a farce. F1 has always been the pinnacle of motor sport and leads the way for possible advances in the motor industry as a whole, however the way things are going it will stagnate.

Hopefully with the FIA having a new president and more new teams getting involved there will some positive changes on the horizon.

Fingers crossed!
