Minnesota Wild Vs. Nashville Predators Preview
Bruce Bennett/Getty Images
The Minnesota Wild and Nashville Predators battle for the second time this season at the Xcel Energy Center Wednesday.
The Predators (15-10-1) defeated the Wild (10-12-3) on Oct. 28 in the first meeting on a shorthanded goal midway through the third period that broke a 3-3 tie.
The Wild has Martin Havlat, Antti Miettinen and Marek Zidlicky returning from injury or illness. It will still be without Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Brent Burns and Petr Sykora because of concussions. Kim Johnsson is questionable because of illness.
The Predators are one of, if not the, hottest team in the NHL with an 8-2 record in the last 10 games. The Wild is 5-2-3 in the same time frame.
