Jeff Carter to Vancouver?

There have been speculations about Philadelphia’s Center, coming to the Canucks this summer.

What you hear may just be rumors, but when it all comes down to it, how can he turn it down?

In Vancouver he is guaranteed a spot on the top two lines as a starting center. In Philadelphia he was on the 3rd or 4th line, next to Richards and Briere.

This is a prime place for a third year player to blossom.

Next to veteran and captain Markus Naslund would appeal to most players in that position, not to mention an All-Star goaltender in Roberto Luongo.

It seems unlikely that anybody would turn down that deal, but somehow the Canucks have a way of losing out on these things.

It could be that missing piece of the puzzle that is just steps away from the Vancouver Canucks winning Lord Stanley's Cup.
