Phillies Sign Brian Schneider

Philadelphia- Free agent catcher Brian Schneider ,33, has signed a two-year $2.75 million dollar contract with the Philadelphia Phillies.

Schneider will be entering his 10th season in the MLB. Schneider is yet to win an award in the MLB.

Brian has a .251 career average, 59 career homeruns, 356 career runs batted in, in 2,826 career at bats.

Schneider will probably backup to catcher Carlos Ruiz.
