Grubbs, a 24-year-old cocktail waitress who has appeared on the VH1 show Tool Academy, was interviewed by US Weekly claiming that she has photos, steamy text messages, and at least one voicemail confirming the extramarital relationship with the country's most widely recognized golfer.
The two allegedly met in July of 2007, when Grubbs was only 21, and carried on a sexual tryst for the past 31 months.
Woods was involved in a car accident outside his home early Friday morning, the details of which have not yet been resolved. Some reports have surmised that Woods and wife Elin Nordegren were involved in an argument about another affair Woods was allegedly having, this one with 31-year-old Rachel Uchitel.
Some reports have speculated that Woods had been attacked by Nordegren during the argument.
Now the word is that the argument involved more than just Uchitel. The timeline of Grubbs' story, if true, would have the affair concluding at some point earlier this month.
Woods has remained largely silent about the allegations. His only statement dubbed the issue a "private matter" best dealt with between him and Nordegren and out of the public eye.
Citing the public outcry and the mysterious injuries he suffered, Woods has pulled out of the Chevron Woods Challenge, which benefits his charity the Tiger Woods Foundation.
