MLB 2008: a Little Late, This Season's Predictions

Harris DeckerSenior Analyst IJune 16, 2008

Writer's Note: So before anyone jumps all over me for doing this, I just want to let you know; these predictions were made in the beginning of the season on my fantasy baseball home page.

I am posting them here and now for my readers to check out. If I do say so myself, I've called the race pretty well so far.

I have chosen the Rookie of the Year, Cy Young and MVP from both leagues. I have also included my World Series picks.

National League MVP: David Wright

American League MVP: Alex Rodriguez

National League Rookie of the Year: Jay Bruce

American League Rookie of the Year: Evan Longoria

National League Cy Young: Dan Haren

American League Cy Young: Dice K

World Series: Mets vs. Red Sox

Some of these will stand up (rookies of the year), some of them wont (David Wright), none the less, predictions are fun.
