With the deadline to enter the 2008 NBA draft today, Danny Green, Wayne Ellington, and Ty Lawson all had big decisions to make about their future.

Luckily for Carolina fans, the big three have decided to come back to school in pursuit of a national title.

With all three coming back, the Heels return most of their 2007-2008 squad that reached the Final Four. Because of the loss of only seniors Quentin Thomas and Surry Wood, and sophomore Alex Stephenson, the Heels look to be in contention for the preseason number one spot and their fifth NCAA national title.

All five starters, including All-American and National Player of the Year Tyler Hansbrough, will return for the Heels. Basically the same team who won 36 games last year.

Green and Ellington were projected to go in the second round of the NBA draft, but Lawson, who was a consensus first round pick, shocked many with his announcement to return.

It had been a forgone conclusion that the speedy point guard would leave, but with all three players returning, the Tar Heels bring back a talented and experienced squad for the '08-'09 season.

It is never a lock to win a national title, but with the team that the Heels will put on the floor next season, anything less will be a great disappointment.
