UFC vs STRIKEFORCE: Heavyweight Battle
This is a epic showdown of the giants. In one corner, stands the big, fat UFC chomping on money and wanting more of it. In the other corner stands a determined new Strikeforce wanting to prove itself. In the prefight interviews UFC talks trash and insults Strikeforce greatly, but Strikeforce stays quiet wanting revenge and hoping to test their weapon FEDOR against UFC's Brock.
If you want to know the victor please read on because there will be many wild matchups to prove which org has stronger heavyweights.
Mir vs Rogers
This a very intriguing matchup between 2 great heavyweights who recently fought the strongest fighter in their organization (Brock and Fedor). Both of them lost but Brett put up more of a fight and got Fedor bloody and battered in the first. Brett avoided numerous sub attempts from Fedor and got up from the ground when he wanted. He also showed he can kinda stand with fedor. If Brett can improve his takedown defense and keep working the sub defense he has a very good chance against Mir. His previous 10 victories came by way of TKO and I think this one will to, with Brett being too much for Mir.
Rogers via 1st round KO.
Cain vs Arlovski
This is a matchup featuring a up and coming fighter vs a seasoned veteran. Cain is a awesome wrestler with vicious ground n pound as seen with cheick kongo and ben rothwell, but he also exposed himself too. With Kongo the short time they were on the feet he got rocked very badly so with Arlovski he will be in a world of hurt. Arlovski is a execellent boxer with coaching from Freddie Roach (teaches Mannt Paqaio). Not only is he a flawless bower he possess a strong base, Sambo. Cain has never fought anyone with a ground game and wont be able to knock Arlovski out because he has no KO power. Arlovski will pick him apart and win.
Arlovski via 2nd round KO.
(p.s This is predicting that Arlovski goes to strikeforce which a very think he will if he wants to keep on fighting.)
Nog vs Antonio Silva
Antonio Silva vs Big Nog is an epic matchup. Nog in his prime would have probably won this match fairly easily but now it is a whole different story. Silva is very good at BJJ and avoided getting caught in a sub against ADCC world heavyweight champ Werdum. If Werdum cant catch Silva i doubt that Nog can. His striking is also very lethal with 9 victories coming by way of KO. He has beat Ricco Rodriguez and would look to beat more big names. Silva would be able to power through Nog with sheer strenth and power and maybe even crack the legendary iron chin.
Antonio Silva via unanimous decision.
JDS vs Overeem
This is a battle of 2 fantastic strikers that will surely end in a devastating knockout. JDS main weapon is his strikes but Overeem is currently in one of the biggest kickboxing tournaments ever and has a huge chance to win the whole thing. Not only does Overeem know how to strike he has more victories coming by submission than by knockout. He has much more experiance and has the speed to match JDS because he formerly was a lightheavyweight. In every aspect of the game look for Overeem to dominate and win. JDS is still very young and in a few years he has a huge chance to defeat Overeem.
Alistair Overeem via 2nd round KO.
Carwin vs Werdum
Carwin and Werdum are both Heavyweight monsters with certain different strenths and weaknesses. Werdum is a ADCC world champ and has many other BJJ credentials. Carwin on the other hand is only a division 2 wrestling champ, but has very powerful hands. Fabricio would have to get the fight on the ground and it could be all over. Fabricio is very underrated and has defeated the likes of 2x Gabriel Gonzaga, Alek E, Antonio Silva, and Alistair Overeem. While Shane has only defeated Gabriel Gonzaga and got rocked in the time doing it. This fight is a matter of who can impose ones will on the other.
Fabricio Werdum via 3rd round submission.
Brock vs Fedor
This a battle fans have been wanting to see ever since Brock started doing MMA, but in reality it wouldnt be much different than the other 31 battles Fedor has had, it would end in a victory for Fedor. Fedor is just too fast for Brock and has serious KNOCKOUT POWER. While Fedor brings a large variety of weapons, Brock only brings a double leg takedown.
Anyone with logic would know who to pick in this war.
Fedor via 1st round KO.
The winner is............................
They have won 6-0 with many dominating victories. My final question is why does fedor have to go to the UFC when all of the strong talent is right here in strikeforce.
Comment if you think it should have gone the other way on a matchup or if a fighter wins by something else than what I just listed.
