I have to say as a passionate Arsenal fan, and admirer of Van Persie's play, I am gutted. I hope we are still in contention for trophies upon his return. "4-5" months is a long time. That's 6 full months to be back in the incredible form he was in. Go Holland I guess. (My jersey is coming in the mail)

I feel like Wenger will now realize that we need reinforcements and possibly go back for Chamakah and another defender. Im still holding out for a shock move for David Villa, but I'm sure a semi decent, young, French, cheap reinforcement is in our clubs future. Hopefully he does spend a little bit of his profit on Ade and Kolo and Stanley kicks our gunners into high gear.

If Arshavin hits form, Walcott steps his game up, Denilson can keep drilling 25 yarders, and Fabregas can carry us to glory, we can still win it. Its a VERY slim chance, lets not kid ourselves. But to be an Arsenal fan is to have belief in our incredible gifted squad. Lets hope the young gunners can win something for Wenger.
