With rumors surrounding Charlie Weis' pending departure and whether or not Jimmy Clausen will enter the NFL draft, Steve Foster and I decided to talk to a former offensive lineman for Notre Dame, Mike Rosenthal, about the future of Notre Dame football.
Mike currently lives in Austin, Texas, so we also asked him about the Longhorns, his national championship prediction, and his Heisman pick. Mike has stayed close to the program since graduating and provided very insightful opinions.
Discussed in the podcast is the job that Weis has done since being the Notre Dame head coach, whether he'll be fired after the season, or if the Stanford game is a make or break game for him.
Also discussed is Clausen's altercation—excuse me, altercations involve two people—I mean Clausen getting sucker-punched, whether he'll go to the NFL, and how he'll do in the NFL.
The podcast is part of "The Sports Piece" web podcast hosted by Robert Rees and Steve Foster.
