Tigers' performance among all-time greats

Kurt Gibson. Michael Jordan. Brett Favre. These names ring a bell, right?

All three of these legendary sports athletes all have one thing in common. Winning under incredible odds with either physical or emotional stress.

As I've watched the U.S. Open today, Tiger Woods' run to the top of the leader board is one not to be forgotten. His knee is still bothering him. He was grimacing in pain during the last couple holes.

But it didn't matter. Woods eagled twice within the last five holes to take the lead. And you know what that means if he's winning after three rounds. He won't lose.
