HHH, HBK Need To Let Younger Wrestlers Develop

According to an article on impactwrestling.com the WWE has effectively ended the pushes of Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger and decided to put their efforts into Sheamus and Drew McIntyre.  Two of the biggest reasons sited for the pushes of Sheamus and McIntyre are that Sheamus is a workout partner for Triple H on the road and McIntyre has been given the stamp of approval by Triple H and Shawn Michaels as being a good worker and ready to achieve greatness.

I find this to be absolutely absurd.  Triple H and Shawn Michaels should not be deciding who gets a push and who doesn't.  They should be focusing on being performers and not interfering with the creative aspect of WWE.  This exemplifies the politics that are far too prevalent in WWE and how merit doesn't guarantee succes in the WWE.

Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger were said to be "underachieving" on Raw and the creative team has said they are no longer going to put anymore effort into the characters of Ziggler and Swagger.  Jack Swagger was an All-American NCAA wrestler at the University of Oklahoma so his athletic ability cannot be questioned.

Ziggler and Swagger are known to have very strong personalities backstage so Triple H and Michales either viewed them as disrespectful because they had no desire to suck up to them or viewed them as threats personally.  It is no secret that Triple H and Shawn Michaels are getting old and their characters are becoming very stale.

This is just one of many examples of Triple H and Shawn Michaels flexing their political muscle over the years.  Does anyone else find this insane?
