Habs: Andrei Markov Is Skating

Dominic Pampalon@d0mynycAnalyst INovember 26, 2009

Montreal - According to RDS.ca, Andrei Markov skated on Tuesday and repeated the experience this morning in practice at the Brossard Sports Complex.

This is good news for the Montreal Canadiens. Markov could start practicing on a more intense basis as early as December and if all goes well, don't be surprised to see him in the lineup before Christmas. But lets not over react.

Markov had a tendon laceration on the ankle on the season opening game.

Another good news is that Jaroslav Spacek, Scott Gomez, Benoit Pouliot and Matt D'Agostini jumped on the ice for this morning's practice.

Spacek and Gomez missed the last two games.
