Brodeur Wins Fourth Vezina
Martin Brodeur, the prized goaltender of the New Jersey Devils has won his fourth Vezina Trophy for the 2007-8 NHL season. Finishing the season with a 44-27-6 record which placed him second for overall wins. But when comparing this to his league leading 4,635 playing minutes it's easy to see why Brodeur was the top goalie in the league this year. When he was awarded the trophy this past Thursday in Toronto, Brodeur stated in an interview: "It's nice to go out and work as hard as you can, wanting to have an impact for your team and give them a better chance to win every night", which is exactly what he did for the New Jersey Devils this season.
