In less than fiour months the "Granddaddy Of Them All" returns. I'm actully quite excited cause with the way things are going on right now a few matches came to mind that I pray to god might happen.
So I decided to make my personal Wrestlemania 26 dream card in which I state the matches I wish would happen.
I know some of these matches are unlikely to occur but hey, it never hurts to dream right? So please read on and enjoy.
Unlike past MITB matches this one would only include young talent (MVP isn't exactly young haha) who want nothing less than a world title shot. This is something all talent dream of and these eight men will put it all on the line. Like every year this match would contain tons of crazy spots. Guys like Drew Mclntyre, Cody Rhodes, Evan Bourne, and Miz should bring some new innovative ways to use the ladder while monsters like Shelton Benjamin, Kofi Kingston, MVP, and John Morrison would do the same as in past years.
After the long battle it would be John Morrison climbing his way to a win and a future world title shot.
Time- 15 min
Winner- John Morrison
Now I know these two have gone at it before but what if these two were to go at it again but this time not for the gold but instead bragging rights (...).
These two are some of the best wwe has to offer and frankly the womens division is considered stale and weak due to the limited knowledge of wrestling the divas have.
This match would actully gain some respect if given the right amount of time and if they go beyond what they've done before. I ain't talking grabbing hair, roll ups, slaps, I'm talking Trish Stratus like maneuvers.
It's hard to pick but I would have to go with Michelle McCool to win this one just cause she's a heel and would do anything to stay on top of her old foe.
Time- 10 min
Winner- Michelle McCool
Oh boy, an absolute battle of the monsters. Representing Smackdown is Batista, Raw is Big Show, and ECW is Vladimir Kozlov. There was another BFBS but it only featured Smackdown and Raw while ECW was once again left out of the spotlight and pushed aside.
I know this match looks like it could be an akward, slow, sloppy match but with Kozlov in there it should add some better than average chemistry. I mean imagine Kozlov and Batista starting off or Kozlov and Big Show.
After this monsters match I would go for ECW's Kozlov to win just to prove that ECW is not something to fool with and that it can handle the big boys.
Time - 10 min
Winner- Vladimir Kozlov
Now I've actully been getting frustrated that Dolph Ziggler who has been getting numerous Intercontinental title shots but unable to capture the title.
So what I was thinking that after a few more IC title shots he would still be unable to capture the title so an a surprise move he jumps brands to ECW.
Dolph would challenge Christian to a match at Wrestlemania for the title. Now I would love to see this match as Dolph has proven he can hang with the big boys. Christian as far as I can see has no trouble putting over young talent as he has done before so this would be no different.
Dolph would really bring it to Christian and after a hard fought battle Dolph would prove too much this time for Christian to handle as he claims his first world title.
Winner- Dolph Ziggler
Its only recently been discovered that CM Punk is dating Matt's ex girlfriend Lita. So I was thinking while these two are having a match for a title shot or something Lita makes a surprise appearence and causes Matt the title shot. Later Matt as revenge would cost punk the title match. Leading to this match up with Punk claiming in his brilliant promos Matt's inability to win a world title, dating Matt's ex, and causing Jeff to leave WWE.
This match would be filled with crazy spots as Matt has shown in the past, CM Punk would also give it his and has shown he can handle some pain. In the end due to some Lita interference CM Punk would somehow land a brutal blow to win the victory.
Time- 15 min
Winner- CM Punk
Oh boy am I looking forward to this match between this two. This is already a guarenteed feud once Edge comes back from injury. Hopefully this lives up to the hype as these two icons face off. Personally I think it could go either way but I have high hopes Edge wins this one.
Time- 20 wins
This match came to my head for wrestlemania. These two have only gone at it one on one back in 2003 when cena was still a rising talent and undertaker was in his american bad ass gimick. Well six years later and now more mature Cena might be ready to take Taker one more time just to prove that he can handle him on.
Taker getting up there in years is likely hurting but like always he'll step up his game for this match. Both these two would go all out with plenty of last rides, attitude adjusments, tombstones, STFUs, hells gate, and chokeslams. When the dust settles taker will once again claim gold and increase his wrestlemania streak to 18-0.
Time- 25 min
Well like taker, Shawn is getting older and older as time passes and soon he's gonne be calling it quits. So who better to have his last match then against his best friend since forever, Triple HHH. My idea for this one would be have Trips make a sudden Heel turn attacking Shawn during one of there DX matches. Thus setting up a retirement match between these two. With every single match involving Shawn at wrestlemania have been five star worthy (*cough* vs taker *cough*) this would be nothing less as he gives it his all and beyond in his final wrestling match against Trips. But sadly it would be Trips picking up the win after a long enduring battle. Afterwards they would embrace as the entire stadium pays their final respects to the living legend.
Winner- Triple HHH
I'm honestly praying to god wwe saves this match up till Wrestlemania. If they want to make Ted the next main eventer and future of the buisness they should do this at the place where immortals are created.
I love this match up where Ted finally breaks away from Legacy and goes after the title which his former leader, the viper-like Randy Orton currently holds. Ted would step up and show us why exactly we should respect him and why he deserves the title. Orton would also do his best and attempt to dismantle Ted but to no avail. After a tiring war between this two which is crazy full of close falls, rkos, dream streets, and punts. Ted Dibiase would perform a dream street after a failed rko picking up the win aswell as the title. Afterwards like many first time champions he would burst into tears as he celebrates his win with none other tha his father Ted Senior. We would all be witness at the future of the buisness.
Time- 25 Min
Winner- Ted Dibiasi
