Huet has come into the year with some giant shoes and a "giant" name to replace in Khabibulin. As the season started there were many questions if Huet could be the Hawks goal tender to take them that extra step into the Stanley Cup. As the season started, it was very disappointing watching Huet struggle through the first couple of weeks of the season and Niemi wasn't much of a better option either.

But since Huet grabbed his first shutout victory over the Predators in Nashville the Hawks have been winners of their last 9 0f 12 games. Still most if their games have been at home at the Madhouse on Madison and there was question to whether they could play on the road. The hawks have answered so far on their circus trip. Last night Neimi notched a shutout win with 30 huge saves winning 1-0 with a Bickell score against the Canucks.

Hopefully when the Blackhawks return to the United Center they can still be on this winning streak as they are home for the holidays.
