This is a slideshow regarding all the top ten fighters that maybe dont deserve to be there or are too high up on the list. They may have a big fan base or coming back from a hard time but as fighters these folks are overrated.
This is the first part of my my slide show and soon i will do one about the most underrated fighters there are.

Hope you enjoy and comment if you think I got any wrong.

5) Shane Carwin

Shane Cawins hype train is out of control and needs to slow down. I am a fan of Carwin and like his exciting knockouts but he isnt as good as people think him to be. His opponents combined have a measly record of 62-52 and his only known win is Gabriel Gonzaga. Even with that fight he wasnt doing that good until his closed eye jab.Sure he has power hands, sure he was a division 2 champ, but so far he hasnt done enough to earn a title shot let alone be in the top 6. People say that Fedor needs to the UFC to face top competition, but the last opponent Fedor fought (Brett Rogers) was ranked higher than Shane (the fighter who was suppose to be fighting Brock for the belt).

4) Vitor Belfort

Vitor Belfort is a very interesting character. He has a so so record of 19-8 and is very unpredictable. He also loses almost every big fight he gets in and besides Wanderlei his recent Rich Franklin win is one of his only big name wins. People always talk about the old belfort and how he was all that but really belfort never reached his true potential and never lived up to the hype. He is good but until he starts getting top win strings going on he will be overrated.

3) Randy Coulture

Good ol Captain America is one of those fighters that you feel bad after criticizing and has one of the biggest fan bases a fighter in MMA posses, so that after you say a critic you will get flamed. Of course it is amazing he is still fighting top comp at age 46 but lets imagine he is like any other fighter. He has a pretty bad record of 17-10 and lets the majority of his fights end in a decison. He comes in with the same gameplan of just pushing fighters up against the cage and throwing a short punch every minute. If he wasnt so famous hed be labeled as one of the most boring fighters ever. Yes, he does face tough competition but many fighters fight top comp and lose. Some may agrue he has won a total of 5 UFC championships but he gets title shots when he dosent deserve them. I doubt Randy can be a force in the light-heavyweight division anymore and should retire before his remaining repuatation is hurt. I like him ,but as a fighter he isnt what people claim.

2) Jorge Santiago

Jorge Santiago is a example of a mistake. Jorge came into the UFC and three fights later he was kicked out because of two highlight loses coming by way of KO to average fighters in Alan Belcher and Chris Leben. People thought he was finished but he moved to Sengoku where he put together a nine fight win streak against lower than B fighters. People then jump upon his hype train and place him in the top five of the middleweight division. I thought this was crazy and only recently was he exposed by Mamed Khalidov. Jorge was and always will be overrated.

1) Frank Mir

Now onto the most overrated top ten fighter of today, Frank Mir. Frank Mir has compieled a ok record of 12-4 over the years with losses to Ian Freeman, Marcio Cruz, Brandon Vera, and Brock Lesnar. These losses are mostly to unknowns and all these losses were tkos. The crazy thing is that on most ranking systems on the internet Frank Mir is ranked third or fourth above all the over great talent there is. He beat a staph infected zombie Nog, a noob Brock Lesnar (first fight in UFC and hasnt been training long) and almost lost until he pulled one of the luckiest submissions in MMA and Tim Sylvia who nowadays is losing to everybody. In my opinion he is just cracking into the top ten and hasnt got the skills to beat a top talent. A guy like Gonzaga does everything he does just better and some people consider him a gatekeeper. Frank Mir is the definition of overrated.

Hope You Enjoyed The Show!
