Can you believe it's already week 11 of the 2009 NFL season? The season has gone by far too quickly.
If you love football, you more than likely play one of the greatest games known to man, fantasy football.
Many people, including myself, often don't know who to start for their team in order to win.
I will be doing my best to help out with my start/sit and position rankings.
Have any questions? Feel free to ask. I will let you know who to start if you need help.
Quarterbacks: Start 'em
1. Matt Schaub vs. Titans
The Tennessee Titans rank 31st in the league against the pass this season. They give up over 270 yards to the opposing quarterback.
Matt Schaub has plenty of targets on offense. I see him having a big day against Tennessee.
2. Kurt Warner vs. St. Louis
St. Louis is another team that is very bad against the pass. Well, what isn't bad about the Rams team besides Steven Jackson?
The Cardinals have 3 great targets in Larry Fitzgerald, Anquan Boldin, and Steve Breaston. Expect a field day for the Cardinals passing game.
3. Brett Favre vs. Seahawks
Who else would be the comeback player of the year if not the silver fox, Brett Favre?
Favre is good for at least 20 fantasy points per week. Seattle is good against the run, thus Minnesota will pass way more often.
Also start:
4. Ben Roethlisberger vs. Kansas City
Kansas City's defense is terrible. Big day for "Big Ben".
5. Peyton Manning vs. Baltimore
Seriously, when would you ever bench this guy?
Quarterbacks: Sit 'em
1. Jay Cutler vs. Philadelphia
Jay Cutler leads the league in interceptions with 17. He is going up against one of the better secondaries in the league, the Philadelphia Eagles.
Honestly, it's tough for him to go at least one game without an interception or two. Count on at least one this week.
2. David Garrard vs. Buffalo
The Jaguars will be running the ball all day long against the Bills. Don't expect a lot of big throws for David Garrard.
Buffalo forces turnovers all the time. With that said, their best defensive player, Jairus Byrd could be out for the game.
3. Matt Ryan vs. New York Giants
Matty Ice has shown signs of a rookie in his sophomore season with the Falcons. Often times he's made silly mistakes that have cost his team dearly.
New York gets back Aaron Ross this week. The Giants already rank 2nd against the pass this year.
Consider benching:
4. Matt Hasselbeck vs. Minnesota
Minnesota forces turnovers quite often.
5. Alex Smith vs. Green Bay
I can never seem to trust this guy. He will make mistakes this weekend.
Quarterback Rankings
1. Matt Schaub vs. Titans
2. Peyton Manning vs. Ravens
3. Drew Brees vs. Buccaneers
4. Kurt Warner vs. Rams
5. Brett Favre vs. Seahawks
6. Tom Brady vs. Jets
7. Ben Roethlisberger vs. Chiefs
8. Aaron Rodgers vs. 49ers
9. Donovan McNabb vs. Bears
10. Philip Rivers vs. Broncos
11. Carson Palmer vs. Raiders
12. Tony Romo vs. Redskins
13. Eli Manning vs. Falcons
14. Jay Cutler vs. Eagles
15. Joe Flacco vs. Colts
16. Matt Hasselbeck vs. Vikings
17. Vince Young vs. Texans
18. Marc Bulger vs. Cardinals
19. Matt Ryan vs. Giants
20. David Garrard vs. Bills
21. Chris Simms vs. Chargers
22. Matthew Stafford vs. Browns
23. Mark Sanchez vs. Patriots
24. Jason Campbell vs. Cowboys
25. Alex Smith vs. Packers
26. Matt Cassel vs. Steelers
27. Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. Jaguars
28. Brady Quinn vs. Lions
29. Josh Freeman vs. Saints
30. Bruce Gradkowski vs. Bengals
Running Backs: Start 'em
1. Maurice Jones-Drew vs. Bills
The Bills are the worst team in the league against the run. You put a good running back in Jones-Drew against a terrible defense, you get 40 fantasy points.
Seriously, start this guy. It's not even worth questioning.
2. Chris Johnson vs. Texans
In only his second season, Chris Johnson has shown that he is the best running back in the AFC, by far.
Houston will have to do their best to contain this guy. I wish them the best of luck.
3. Adrian Peterson vs. Seattle
It doesn't matter who he faces, Adrian is a must-start every single week.
This week, Adrian goes up against one of the better run defenses in the league, but that won't matter, especially when you're the best running back in the league.
Also start:
4. Ray Rice vs. Colts
This guy is explosive. He can get you 20 points just from receiving.
5. Frank Gore vs. Packers
Frank Gore is due for a big week. He will get it on Sunday.
Running Backs: Sit 'em
1. Justin Forsett vs. Vikings
The VIkings hardly ever give up big fantasy points against opposing running backs.
I see him getting maybe 10 points this week if he's lucky.
2. Steve Slaton vs. Titans
Slaton has been benched over the past couple of weeks due to poor play. Ryan Moats has seen the majority of the carries.
Tennessee will get shredded in the pass, but not the run.
3. Joseph Addai vs. Ravens
Something can't get me to believe in this guy. Donald Brown, lately, has been taking carries away from Addai.
Baltimore can't stop Peyton Manning, so they will have to stop the attack of Joseph Addai and Donald Brown.
Consider benching:
4. Laurence Maroney vs. Jets
Too hot and cold. This week, he will be ice cold.
5. Jamal Lewis vs. Lions
Seriously, just let this guy go. He hates playing for you.
Running Back Rankings
1. Maurice Jones-Drew vs. Bills
2. Adrian Peterson vs. Seahawks
3. Chris Johnson vs. Texans
4. Ray Rice vs. Colts
5. Frank Gore vs. Packers
6. Steven Jackson vs. Cardinals
7. Rashard Mendenhall vs. Chiefs
8. Kevin Smith vs. Browns
9. Pierre Thomas vs. Buccaneers
10. Brandon Jacobs vs. Falcons
11. Matt Forte vs. Eagles
12. Marion Barber vs. Redskins
13. LaDainian Tomlinson vs. Broncos
14. LeSean McCoy vs. Bears
15. Thomas Jones vs. Patriots
16. Jason Snelling vs. Giants
17. Knowshon Moreno vs. Chargers
18. Ryan Grant vs. 49ers
19. Beanie Wells vs. Rams
20. Bernard Scott vs. Raiders
21. Ladell Betts vs. Cowboys
22. Marshawn Lynch vs. Jaguars
23. Tim Hightower vs. Rams

28. Darren Sproles vs. Broncos
29. Ahmad Bradshaw vs. Falcons
30. Jamal Lewis vs. Lions
31. Jamaal Charles vs. Steelers
32. Donald Brown vs. Ravens
Wide Receivers: Start 'em
1. Andre Johnson vs. Titans
The Titans, as I mentioned earlier, are terrible against the pass. Cortland Finnegan vs. Andre Johnson will be a good match-up, though.
Andre is arguably the best receiver in the game today. He will get at least 15 points this week.
2. Larry Fitzgerald vs. Rams
St. Louis will have a tough day against the Cardinals stellar offense. Larry Fitzgerald will have to double and even triple-teamed on Sunday.
Fitz has been great lately. Don't expect for him to slow down anytime soon.
3. Reggie Wayne vs. Ravens
When you have Peyton Manning throwing you the ball, expect a lot of points to be wracked up in fantasy.
Reggie Wayne will see a lot of balls thrown his way on Sunday.
Also start:
4. Vincent Jackson vs. Broncos
He's clearly the best receiver for the Chargers. Philip Rivers will find him all day.
5. Marques Colston vs. Buccaneers
Drew Brees hasn't made the Saints receivers look great lately. It's time for a bounce back week.
Wide Receivers: Sit 'em
1. Chris Chambers vs. Steelers
Despite Chambers looking like a star over the past few weeks, don't start him unless you're desperate this week.
Pittsburgh doesn't give up many points to opposing receivers.
2. Braylon Edwards vs. Patriots
It's time for a wake-up call, Braylon Edwards. New England will be tough against Mark Sanchez this week.
Braylon is a solid start as a No. 3 receiver, nothing more, though.
3. Michael Crabtree vs. Packers
Green Bay might give up a bunch on the ground, but not through the air.
Michael Crabtree hasn't been terrific since being signed by the 49ers, but he's been good thus far.
Consider benching:
4. Randy Moss vs. Jets
Believe it or not, Randy might not be a great start this week against Darrelle Revis and the Jets secondary.
5. Bernard Berrian vs. Seahawks
Don't start this guy for the rest of the season. Rice and Harvin are taking over at wide receiver.
Wide Receiver Rankings
1. Andre Johnson vs. Titans
2. Larry Fitzgerald vs. Rams
3. Reggie Wayne vs. Ravens
4. Vincent Jackson vs. Broncos
5. Sidney Rice vs. Seahawks
6. Marques Colston vs. Buccaneers
7. DeSean Jackson vs. Bears
8. Chad Ochocinco vs. Raiders
9. Hines Ward vs. Chiefs
10. Wes Welver vs. Jets
11. Calvin Johnson vs. Browns
12. Brandon Marshall vs. Chargers
13. Anquan Boldin vs. Rams
14. Randy Moss vs. Jets
15. Mike Sims-Walker vs. Bills
16. Steve Smith vs. Falcons
17. Roddy White vs. Giants
18. T.J. Houshmandzadeh vs. Vikings
19. Donald Driver vs. 49ers
20. Miles Austin vs. Redskins
21. Greg Jennings vs. 49ers
22. Santonio Holmes vs. Chiefs
23. Percy Harvin vs. Seahawks

45. Torry Holt vs. Bills
46. Antonio Bryant vs. Saints
47. Devery Henderson vs. Buccaneers
48. Laveranues Coles vs. Raiders
49. Nate Washington vs. Texans
50. Austin Collie vs. Ravens
Tight Ends: Start 'em
1. Dallas Clark vs. Ravens
As I've said before, if you're a good receiver on the Colts roster, you will get a lot of points.
Baltimore will have a tough time shutting down Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark respectively. At least one of them will have a big game.
2. Tony Gonzalez vs. Giants
The Falcons will have to rely on Matt Ryan being able to not cause turnovers, and hit his open targets.
Tony Gonzalez was quiet last week, but he hardly ever goes two weeks in a row with poor performances.
3. Antonio Gates vs. Broncos
If Vincent Jackson is being covered like a blanket from Champ Bailey, Gates will see a lot of passes coming his way.
Denver gives up pretty good fanatsy points to tight ends almost every week.
Also start:
4. Vernon Davis vs. Packers
No tight end has been more impressive than Vernon Davis this season.
5. Brent Celek vs. Bears
Celek has been Donovan McNabb's favorite target as of late.
Tight Ends: Sit 'em
1. Todd Heap vs. Colts
How often can you trust Todd Heap to come up with big numbers for your fanatsy squad? Almost never.
For the reason I just stated, bench Heap this week.
2. Donald Lee vs. Eagles
Where has this guy been all season? I will tell you where. On the bench.
Jermichael Finley has moved up the depth chart, so bench Lee for the year unless Finley gets hurt.
3. Daniel Graham vs. Chargers
Never start a primary blocking tight end, it never works.
Tight End Rankings
1. Dallas Clark vs. Ravens
2. Tony Gonzalez vs. Giants
3. Antonio Gates vs. Broncos
4. Vernon Davis vs. Packers
5. Visanthe Shiancoe vs. Seahawks
6. Brent Celek vs. Bears
7. Greg Olsen vs. Eagles
8. Jeremy Shockey vs. Buccaneers
9. Kellen Winslow vs. Saints

15. Dustin Keller vs. Patriots
16. Zach Miller vs. Bengals
17. Kevin Boss vs. Falcons
18. Fred Davis vs. Cowboys
19. Todd Heap vs. Colts
20. Brandon Pettigrew vs. Browns
Defense/Special Teams: Start 'em
1. Pittsburgh's DST vs. Chiefs
Kansas City's offense will be no match for the amount of skill that the Steelers have on defense.
Even with Troy Polamolu out for the game, Pittsburgh will be able to force turnovers all game long.
2. Cincinnati Bengals DST vs. Raiders
Oakland is starting Bruce Gradkowski at quarterback. Yeah, good luck with that, Raiders.
Cincinnati gets plenty of sacks. Expect them to come quite often.
3. Minnesota Vikings DST vs. Seahawks
No matter who they face, the Vikings force turnovers.
Minnesota will once again be without Antoine Winfield, but don't worry, Jared Allen is still on the field.
Also start:
4. Saints DST vs. Buccaneers
Josh Freeman is a rookie. The guy will make mistakes.
5. Arizona Cardinals DST vs. Rams
Marc Bulger is often money for at least one interception per game.
Defense/Special Teams: Sit 'em
1. Falcons DST vs. Giants
Not a good match-up for the Falcons. They will give up plenty of points to the Giants steller offense.
2. Tennessee Titans DST vs. Texans
Matt Schaub doesn't throw many picks. He will throw many touchdowns, though.
3. Baltimore Ravens DST vs. Colts
Usually, Baltimore is a must-start. This week, you can bench them with confidence.
Consider benching:
4. Seahawks DST vs. Vikings
Minnesota's offense is one of the best in the league.
5. Buffalo Bills DST vs. Jaguars
Maurice Jones-Drew will see the end-zone a couple times on Sunday.
Defense/Special Teams Rankings
1. Steelers DST vs. Chiefs
2. Vikings DST vs. Seahawks

16. Lions DST vs. Browns
17. Colts DST vs. Ravens
18. Titans DST vs. Texans
19. Texans DST vs. Titans
20. Falcons DST vs. Giants
Kickers: Start 'em
1. David Akers vs. Bears
The Eagles might not find the end zone many times, but they will have a good amount of field goal opportunities.
2. Ryan Longwell vs. Seahawks
Is there any doubt that Ryan Longwell is one of the best kickers in the league? Expect a good 8 or 9 points for Ryan this week.
3. Stephen Gostkowski vs. Jets
The Patriots will be able to drive all over the Jets. Gostkowski will have a lot of field goal chances this week.
Also start:
4. Lawrence Tynes vs. Falcons
Another kicker that will probably see a few field goal opportunities. Start both Jason Elam and Lawrence Tynes.
5. Rob Bironas vs. Texans
The Monday night game will be an offensive juggernaut. Both Kris Brown and Rob Bironas are worth starting.
Kickers: Sit 'em
1. Sebastian Janikowski vs. Bengals
To be honest with you, I don't even think the Raiders will score this week.
2. Ryan Succop vs. Steelers
Pittsburgh won't give up many points. If you can afford to bench Succop, please do.
3. Connor Barth vs. Saints
Another kicker who won't see many chances for field goals. They will be going for touchdowns this week.
Kicker Rankings
1. David Akers vs. Bears
2. Ryan Longwell vs. Seahawks
3. Stephen Gostkowski vs. Jets
4. Lawrence Tynes vs. Falcons
5. Rob Bironas vs. Texans
6. Jason Elam vs. Giants
