Just a few short days ago Sengoku III went largely overlooked by American audiences, but that certainly doesn't mean that the fight card didn't have it's share of talent and moments.

Never let it be said that mixed martial artists of other organizations and promotions can't put on a show, or go for the win. Only one fight on the card went to a decision.

Fabio Silva (10-4) defeated Yoshiki Takahashi (28-23-2) via KO in the second round.

Rodrigo Damm (8-1) defeated Jorge Masvidal (13-3) via TKO (strikes) in the second round.

Marcio Cruz (4-2) defeated Choi Mu Bae (7-3) via submission due to rear naked choke in the first round.

Sanae Kikuta (27-6-3) defeated Chris Rice (12-6) via submission due to armbar in the first round.

Nick Thompson (36-9-1) defeated Michael Costa (9-4) via submission due to the most vicious kimura I have ever seen in the second round, extending his win streak to 12. You have too see the submission for yourself here.

Kazuo Misaki (20-8)defeated Logan Clark (11-2) via unanimous decision

Travis Wiuff (53-11) defeated Kazuyuki Fujita (15-7) via KO in the first round. And it was all set up with a jab that knocked Fujita to the ground! This win extends Wuiff's streak to 9 in a row.

Hidehiko Yoshida (8-6-1) defeated Maurice Smith (12-13) via submission due to neck crank in the first round. I know, I was surprised at Smith's record, too.

You have to hand it to Japanese promotions, the production value is higher, the respect for fighters is higher, and the quality of fights (more often than not lately) has been higher. If you get a chance, take a look at any or all of these fights.
