Sunderland Vs. Arsenal Match Preview

Tomorrow, Arsenal face Sunderland at the Stadium Of Light or to be precise at Sunderland's home.

Arsenal barely grabbed a point last year at The Stadium Of Light. Sunderland have lost only one match so far at their home this season whereas, Arsenal have lost two away games this season; both of them to the Manchester clubs.

With their current goal tally very few will worry for them but with Gael Clichy, Nicklas Bendtner, Abou Diaby, Robin Van Persie, Kieren Gibbs on the injury list and William Gallas, Bacary Sagna doubtful after their international matches Arsenal could face their real test. Andrei Arshavin will start on the bench.

A good news is Jack Wlishere, Theo Walcott and Denilson will return. Eduardo and Carlos Vela are most likely to be the strike partners. The duo have also played once before against Burnley last season. I expect the formation to be a modified 4-3-3. With Song and Denilson as the holding midfielders, Fabregas with his usual role of supporting the strikers. Vela, Eduardo, Nasri to attack. What I worry most about is for the defence. Sagna could be replaced by Eboue as the right back. Silvestre will most likely to be playing as a left back. But who will partner Vermaelen? Will it be the Senderos?

I just hope Arsenal continue their solid form as a win would significantly be a morale boost for their next crucial match with Chelsea.
