New Orleans Saints: Celebrate Our Perfect Saints

Paint a bull's-eye on our backs and try to kill us, we're 9-0 and still perfect.

Any believer of any religion in the world strives for perfection to please their gods and to ultimately earn a place in the afterlife, our Saints also strive for perfection and this is the farthest that they have ever come.

By tradition, the Saints have been bad but the seasons of 2007 and 2008 were especially bad, the records weren't especially awful, 7-9 and 8-8 isn't as bad as some Cats in Detroit did but the fans were frustrated, especially because they knew that the Black and Gold were better than that and should play better than that.

At this time last year, we were 4-5 and still looking to put a winning streak together, and I know that we have problems this year. We're really going to miss Tracy Porter and Jabari Greer while they're out with injuries, but still, the record doesn't lie.

You are what your record is. Period. And right now, we're the best team in the NFC and possibly even the entire NFL although Peyton's victory over the Patriots was pretty impressive.

Last year, could we have won a game in which Drew Brees did not throw a touchdown? Sanity says not.

So, let's forget Aaron Brooks, Jason David, and the 3-13 seasons because we might just have a chance to go ALL THE WAY! Geaux Saints!
