Everyone should remember this one—the loss that sparked "The Promise" speech from Tim Tebow.

Maybe this is the reason the Rebels are being punished by so many opponents this season, seeing as they are the reason for most of the SEC butt-whuppings from Tebow since then.

Lloyd Carr goes out a winner. I really am still not quite sure how they lost this one. Michigan lost to Appalachian State in the biggest upset of all time that year. I guess they just wanted it more.

The Gators still remember this game well. The Bulldogs embarrassed Florida by disgracefully unloading their bench to the end zone after a touchdown. After that Matthew Stafford and Knowshon Moreno went off with four TDs.

Tebow didn't practice that week because of a shoulder injury and didn't hold up too well in the second half, and the team just wasn't the same.

On the road, the Gators just weren't able to hold onto a late lead. Jacob Hester seemed unstoppable as he scored the winning points with only 1:09 left in the game. The Tigers went on to win the national championship with their only losses coming to Kentucky and Arkansas in OT.

In a loss that snapped an 11-game winning streak and started a two-game slide, Auburn upset the favored Gators once again. This was coach Urban Meyer's first loss at home in his Gator career.

Florida bounced back after being down 17-3 in the fourth quarter and tied the game, but a Tebow interception set up the winning drive. Florida was done in by a last second 43-yard FG by Wes Byrum.

This game may start to stretch some of your memories. At halftime the Gators held a 17-11 lead, but mistakes caught up to them. Florida gave up a safety, a fumble for a touchdown, and a blocked punt for a touchdown in the loss.

This was the only loss of the year as the Gators went on to win their second national championship.

In the first game where the Gators faced their former coach Steve Spurrier, they lost to him. At least it wasn't in the Swamp. This ended Florida's run at the SEC title for that season.

In a highly anticipated No. 10 (Tigers) vs. No. 11 (Gators) matchup, Florida was able to force five turnovers but was not able to convert against the LSU defense, being held to just 206 total yards. Chris Leak had a bruised shoulder and threw for a career-low 107 yards.

Easily Meyer's worst outing as the Gator head coach. Florida was ranked fifth and were completely embarrassed by the No. 15 Crimson Tide.

The Gators failed to score a touchdown for the first time since 1992, and the Brodie Croyle to Tyrone Prothro combination (remember them?) was unstoppable.

But Prothro's career day also marked the end of his career, as he suffered a horrific broken leg that you can probably still look up on YouTube and cringe at.

Interim head coach Charlie Strong didn't have much hope for a win in this one. Miami was more talented, more motivated, and better coached. QB Brock Berlin, WR Roscoe Parrish, and KR Devin Hester led the Hurricanes to an easy victory.

The loss gave the Gators five losses in a season that saw a new era formed as Ron Zook was fired and Urban Meyer was hired.
