Boston Bruins: Offense Wanted

Mikey TolvoCorrespondent IJune 12, 2008

The Bruins' needs:

1. Offense.

2. Offense

3. Offense. and then maybe help between the pipes.

The Bruins finished in the bottom five in offense in the whole NHL.  Bergeron needs to score around 40.  Hopefully, 25 for Sturm. Twenty for Kobasew.  It's also about time Kessel gets physical. Kessel could be a force if he was more physical. Kobasew is also a talented young forward who can put up around 20-25 goals a season.

Even if they are lucky enough for all this to happen, the Bruins would still need more.

Hossa would be great.  Savard already gets like 80 assists without any real goal scorer on his line. With Hossa maybe he could get to 100!

Chara had an awesome season but he needs to put more in the net on the Power Play. The king of tight spaces, Glen Metropolit, needs to put more in the net too.

If the young guys (Sobotka, Nokelinen, Kreicji, maybe Pelletier) could put together 30-40 points, that would be great.  With the Bruins' young talent, they could easily be in the top 20 in goal scoring instead of bottom five.
