The University of Minnesota Golden Gophers are playing for a spot in a bowl game not in the top 25. It can really help its cause with a win over a reeling top 25 team.

The top eight teams won, so it remains the same. But losses by eight other teams in top 25, beginning with the No. 9 and No. 10 spots, force a lot of changes.

Miami made the biggest fall while staying in the top 25 from No. 12 to No. 25 and the biggest improvement came from the Ohio State Buckeyes from No. 15 to No. 9.

The Atlantic Coast Conference has the most teams with five.

Four teams make its return or first appearance to the top 25, including three teams from the ACC.

The Big Ten has four teams, all in the top 15.
