As I watched Kobe drop 36 on the Celtics last night, it became more evident that the NBA chose the right MVP.

After struggling on the road the first two games, Kobe had no problem whatsoever with the Celtics' defense. Three-pointers, driving in the paint and getting to the free throw line (even though he struggled there) allowed the Lakers to win game 3.

Sasha Vujacic also came up big with 20 points while shooting 70 percent from the field. His two three's in the fourth opened the lead up for Los Angeles, and the Lakers didn't look back from there.

Unfortunately, if the Lakers are going to win this series and the championship, their going to need some support from the other bigs, Odom and Gasol.
