WASHINGTON, D.C.(AP) — Eric Ward threw two touchdown passes and
four different Richmond players had rushing scores as the
Spiders routed Georgetown (D.C.) on Saturday.

Richmond (9-1, 6-1 Colonial Athletic Association) remains in a
three-way tie for first place in the CAA South with Villanova
and William & Mary. The Spiders host William & Mary next
Saturday with at least a share of the conference title at stake.

Ben Keating’s 2-yard run, Tyler Kirchoff’s 1-yarder and Ward’s
15-yard TD pass to Sherman Logan put Richmond ahead 21-0 in the
first quarter.

After the Hoyas (0-10, 0-5) pulled within 21-10 in the second,
Ward’s 32-yard pass to Max Prokell put Richmond ahead 28-10 at
halftime.

The Spiders pulled away on Tremayne Graham’s 94-yard kickoff
return for a touchdown and TD runs by John Laub and Garrett
Wilkins in the second half.
