The 10 Sexiest Fighters in MMA: The Girls

They’re beautiful, they’re talented, they’d kick our asses. Some of these women have already received plenty of attention, others have drifted into the background while we all gossip about the ring girls. That can’t be right.

Following on from my ‘Top 10 Sexiest Fighters—the Guys’, here come the girls. Who’s your personal favourite?

10—Kyra Gracie

There’s one reason and one reason only that Kyra is so low down on this top ten, and that is because she’s not technically a ‘fighter’ as such. 24 year old Kyra, member of the legendary Gracie family, is a BJJ black belt and has won over 20 major titles since competing in the sport. Now come on, are we really going worry over a little technicality? I don’t think so.

9—Kim Couture

Arguably one of the most well known figures in women’s MMA, Kim is signed to Strikeforce and is still being supported on a professional level by her ex-husband, Randy Couture. Tough as nails and with the heart of a lion, Kim’s fans will all be tuning in to see the ultimate battle of the WAGS when she takes on Kerry Vera later this month.

8—LaTasha Marzolla

LaTasha caught everybody’s attention earlier this year when she beat Christy Tada in her MMA debut. The glamour model has appeared in Playboy several times and has since trained under Shawn Tompkins and Xtreme Couture.

7—Rosi Sexton

The most well known British female mixed martial artist, Rosi is also a sports therapist, student osteopath, and writer. Her sole loss was at the hands of Gina Carano back in 2006. Now on a five fight winning streak, is there anything that this woman can’t do?

6—Erin Toughill

Sultry Erin made everyone’s dreams come true when she came out of retirement from MMA last year. Though currently sidelined with an injury which prevented her from making her Strikeforce debut, she remains one of the most popular female fighters around.

5—Kerry Vera

Mrs Brandon Vera is far, far more than a pretty face. She’s set to take part in the ultimate battle of the WAGs when she fights Kim Couture later this month, hot on the heels of Brandon and Randy’s fight. Intrigued? Of course we are.

4—Miesha Tate

Women like Miesha are the reason that guys want to date female fighters. She’s been giving Gina Carano a run for her money with some of her hot photo shoots, and she kicks ass in the cage too, holding the Freestyle Cage Fighting Women's Bantamweight Championship.

3—Michelle Waterson

Wow. They don’t call this lady ‘The Karate Hottie’ for nothing! A model and a karate black belt, you’re unlikely to ever forget this woman once you’ve laid eyes on her.

2—Marloes Coenen

Most likely the next lady in line for a shot at Cyborg, Marloes had hearts-a-fluttering at the Strikeforce Fedor vs Rogers press conference when she appeared, dressed elegantly in black. She’s demure, she’s elegant, she’s sophisticated, and most definitely worthy of making it to second place in this list.

1—Gina Carano

We mustn’t forget all that Gina has done to draw attention to women’s MMA. Every photo shoot, magazine interview, TV appearance etc has been cherished by the masses. Gina might not have won the fight against Cyborg, but she’s still the undisputed Queen amongst female fighters, and pretty darn hot too.
