New Zealand have qualified for the FIFA World Cup for the second time in their history defeating Bahrain in front of 36 000 people.

A Rory Fallon header from a Leo Bertos cross ensured that the Kiwis will feature in the biggest tournament in the world.

The Oceania champions only previous World Cup appearance was in 1982 where they lost all their games.

Things could have been a whole lot different if Bahrain had converted the penalty they were awarded.

And on this note I say "Good Luck New Zealand".
