The NBA 2009-2010 Playoff Prediction Results

In this article I will predict how the NBA playoffs will shape out based on my predictions I already made based on conference. If you haven't read those go to my profile and check them out. There is one article for each conference.
Below I will list the match-ups and the winners in the first round. After that, in each slide I will put the winner starting with the Conference Semifinals match-ups in the Eastern Conference.

Eastern Conference 1st Round:
#1 Boston Celtics vs. #8 Toronto Raptors
Winner: Boston Celtics
#4 Atlanta Hawks vs. #5 Detroit Pistons

Winner: L.A Lakers

#2 Denver Nuggets vs. #7 New Orleans Hornets
Winner: Denver Nuggets
#3 Phoenix Suns vs. #6 Dallas Mavericks

NBA Semifinals 09-10 Playoff Prediction

After I predicted how the 1st round of the NBA playoffs would shape out, I will do the same for the NBA Semifinals. So far this is how the playoffs look.

Eastern Conference Semifinals:
#1 Boston Celtics vs. #4 Atlanta Hawks
#2 Cleveland Cavaliers vs. #3 Orlando Magic

Western Conference Semifinals:
#1 L.A Laker vs. #5 Portland Trail Blazers
#2 Denver Nuggets vs. #3 Phoenix Suns

In the next slides I will show you the results of these match-ups...

Eastern Conference Semifinals: Boston vs. Atlanta

It has been 2 years since these two faced off in the playoffs, that series went 7 games. When Boston played Chicago last year it also went 7 games. This could be the year Boston pays for going 7, but I doubt it.

Final Result: Boston in 6 games

Eastern Conference Semifinals: Cleveland vs. Orlando

By the time this series comes around Shaq will be worn down, and Lebron will have to carry the team. Orlando is too good all-around to go down to Cleveland in a clutch situation. This will be close though

Final Result: Orlando in 7

Western Conference Semifinals: L.A vs Portland

The Lakers are too good to go down to an inexperienced Portland team. This will be easy for L.A.

Final Result: Lakers in 5

Western Conference Semifinals: Denver vs. Phoenix

Denver is a great all-around team, with out a doubt they will win this series.
Even though they will win it will be very, very close.

Final Result: Nuggets in 7

NBA Conference Finals 09-10 Playoff Predictions

In my last slides I predicted the Semifinals. Here are the results.

Eastern Conference Finals:
#1 Boston Celtics vs. #3 Orlando Magic

Western Conference Finals:
#1 L.A Lakers vs. #2 Denver Nuggets

Here are my predictions...

Eastern Conference Finals: Boston vs. Orlando

The talent on both these teams are ridiculous. That means this series will go 7 and i predict every game will only be, at the most a 5-point difference.

Final Result: Celtics in 7

Western Conference Finals: L.A vs. Denver

A rematch of the great series last year. Again this will be close but the result will be different. Now that the Nuggets are more playoff experienced they will take it.

Final Result: Nuggets in 7

NBA Finals 09-10 Prediction

After Predicting the Semis the finals are shaping out to look like a good one.
Here is the match-up:

NBA Finals 09-10 Results !!!

This could go down as one of the greatest finals in the past couple of decades. This match-up will not come down to the starters because everyone knows both these teams are loaded. This will come down to the bench.
The Nuggets have these players headlining their bench:
