Winnipeg Blue Bombers' Training Camp Notes

After starting the biggest game of his career in the 2007 Grey Cup against Saskatchewan, QB Ryan Dinwiddie is giving Kevin Glenn a run for his money for the starting role.  Dinwiddie is slated to start against the Hamilton Tiger Cats at Ivor Wynne Stadium for the Bombers first pre-season game June 12th.

As well, offensive lineman Brendon LaBatte has surprised many at Training Camp.  LaBatte, the Bombers sixth overall pick in the 2008 CFL Draft, is determined to make the lineup for opening day.

Troy Westwood's inconsistency in camp have come to haunt the elder kicker as he has dropped to third on the kicker's depth chart.

The Bombers will play the Tiger Cats Thursday night and then the Montreal Alouettes on June 19th before the regular season begins on Friday, June 27th when they host the Toronto Argonauts.
