Everybody was laughing at what Chad Ochocinco did after he made a catch. The refs were checking if the catch was actually made, and then there you see seeing Ochocinco bribing him with one dollar.

Everybody thought it was hilarious, including myself. Not the NFL. The NFL fined Ochocinco for $20K for him trying to bribe the referee.

One of the NFL’s executives, Ray Anderson, says this:

“The very appearance of impropriety is not acceptable. Your conduct was unprofessional and unbecoming an NFL player.”

“You don’t fool with the integrity of the game in the NFL. You don’t cross that line, and he crossed that line. I told him that, and obviously the league felt that.” says head coach Marvin Lewis. “We’re not the WWF. It’s a serious game for serious people. You can’t do that, and he realizes he made a very big error in judgment. He’s sorry for it. Hopefully some good will come out of it. I’m sure the league at some point can’t have a copycat deal. So I think they made a pretty firm statement there will be no copycats.”

Well, what do you expect. Ochocinco will keep getting fines. It’s just how he is.

And like he is, you just can’t stop No. 85.
