While playing a lackluster first half in Denver an epiphany occurred in the Steeler locker room at half time. Must have, because when the Steelers and Broncos took the field for the second half, BAM, the Steelers took over. They made the Bronco's defense look like anything but the first ranked defense that the stats indicate.
As Cincinnati takes the field in Pittsburgh this week I'm thinking they are going to run into a train wreck. You can see the Steelers growing in leaps and bounds, both offensively and defensively, with each squad trying to best the other in performance. As I gaze into my crystal ball there seems to be the Roman numeral VII in the very near future.
Colts, Patriots, and Chargers beware, for lurking in the AFC North you will find a surging Steeler team, that won't be denied. I say Chargers as it is my belief the Broncos have been playing way over thier heads and are sinking down to the mediocre level they are used to.
Looking around on-line I see the Steelers are creeping back up in the power rankings. Seeing that all we need to do now is get the special teams cranking, and keep reducing the turn-overs. Keep in mind there are still four fingers to fill.
