- Michigan Basketball signed two recruits today in the early signing period for the 2010 class. Both Tim Hardaway, Jr. and Evan Smotrycz signed up to join John Beilein's squad.

- Congratulations to Joe Cada, a Michigan native who won $8.5 Million in the World Series of Poker last night. Joe's fans in Vegas were all dressed in Maize U of M t-shirts. If you watched the final hands, you know Joe played like a poker veteran, even though he is just 21 and started playing poker at 17.

- Zoltan Mesko has been named a finalist for the Wuerffel Trophy. The Wuerffel Award is given to the college football player who best combines exemplary community service with outstanding academic and athletic achievement.
