Minnesota Vikings’ tight end Visanthe Shiancoe said on his Ustream broadcast on Wednesday that he plans on doing push-ups when he catches touchdown passes during games.

Shiancoe said he will do as many push-ups as the total touchdowns he has for the season. Shiancoe currently has six touchdowns this season, so if he catches his seventh touchdown pass on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, expect him to do seven push-ups.

In the last game against the Green Bay Packers, Shiancoe was supposed to do the lambeau leap, but apparently got too excited after his touchdown pass from quarterback Brett Favre that he forgot to do the leap.

Shiancoe also said he is willing to listen and even watch ideas for a touchdown routine. Anyone can record themself doing an “original” dance routine (presumably on YouTube) and message it to his Twitter account at “@vshiancoe”.
