This Saturday, the Iowa Hawkeyes travel to Ohio Stadium (Horseshoe) to play to Ohio State Buckeyes in a pivotal Big Ten matchup. The Hawkeyes suffered their first loss of the season last week at home against Northwestern and their quarterback Ricky Stanzi went down in the second quarter of the game. Redshirt freshman James Vandenberg will be playing in place of Stanzi for the game.

Iowa has gone through a lot of injuries this season, but they haven't really shown it with their 9-1 record. If Iowa wins this game, they are off to Pasadena to play in the Rose Bowl. Ricky Stanzi is obviously upset that he can't play, but he's helping Vandenberg and he'll be team captain for the game. Not only is Stanzi helping Vandenberg, he's helping the other quarterback John Weinke.

Ohio Stadium is one of the toughest stadiums to play in. The last time Iowa won there was 18 years ago.

Let's hope Vandenberg does well and go Hawkeyes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
