Best Finish: Won (2007)
Best Round: 66 (2004)

20. Zach Johnson: Last year's Masters champion has struggled at the U. S. Open but has the game to play well here. he hits fairways and putts well, which is what you need while trying to grind out pars.
Appearances: 4
Best Finish: T45 (2007)
Best Round: 70 (2004)

21. Trevor Immelman: Immelman has never played well here but he just won his first major, the Masters in April. The greats always win two or more so his legacy will be defined how he plays in the rest of the majors during his career.
Appearances: 4
Best Finish: T-21 (2006)
Best Round: 69 (2004)

22. Tim Clark: In just five appearances at the U. S. Open he has missed the cut twice and finished in the top ten once. He played well at Colonial for his only top 10 finish of the season. His putting keeps him in the top tier for my rankings in this event.
Appearances: 5
Best Finish: T-3 (2005)
Best Round: 66 (2004)

23. Robert Karlsson: Wow here's a man that is red hot on the European Tour. In his last five events he has finished T8, 3, T3, T3, and 2. He is playing well at the right time.
Appearances: 4
Best Finish: T-45 (2002)
Best Round: 71 (2002)

24. K. J. Choi: Choi has actually missed the cut in four of his seven appearances and has always struggled to find his way at the U. S. Open for some reason or another.
Appearances: 7
Best Finish: T-15
Best Round: 68 (2004)

25. Paul Casey: Casey is a guy I like a lot here and playing with Ian fellow countrymen Ian Poulter and Luke Donald in the first two rounds will probably benefit him a lot. His finishes are getting better and better every year.
Appearances: 5
Best Finish: T-10 (2007)
Best Round: 66 (2007)

26. Rod Pampling: Pampling has played well with four top 10s in 15 events.
Appearances: 4
Best Finish: T-32 (2006)
Best Round: 71 (2006)

27. Ian Poulter: Poulter plays with Donald and Casey in round one. That should really help his nerves on days one and two. I believe he can compete for the win here.
Appearances: 4
Best Finish: T-12 (2006)
Best Round: 69 (2005)

28. Stephen Ames: Here's a guy that I really think can win a major sometime during his career. Neither his putting or driving accuracy open any eyes statistically but if he can pull it together then I like this chances this week.
Appearances: 6
Best Finish: T-5 (2003)
Best Round: (2004)

29. Justin Rose:
