Larry Johnson's mouth has gotten him into trouble and now officially has left him without a job.

ESPN's Adam Schefter has reported that the Kansas City Chiefs will release the troubled running back today, this coming after Johnson used gay slurs under his breath before being interviewed by reporters in the locker room after a loss and wrote some disparaging remarks about the coaching staff on his Twitter account.

The 27th overall pick of the 2003 draft, Johnson established an NFL single-season record with 416 rushing attempts in 2006 when he set a franchise single-season mark with 1,789 rushing yards and 17 touchdowns.
