This summer after I broke the news that Vick visited Buffalo I listened to a lot of debate on the merits of this quarterback and the future of the franchise.  I was also told I was full of bull droppings and this story was a farce.  It was not my friends.

A few months later Bills Nation flounders in the muck of poorly played and executed football.  The Dungy news last night of the Bills becoming a "Dark Horse" both excited and frustrate me in the same regards the Owens deal did.

The bottom line in this case is that Buffalo is going to have 6 million options free(Owens) but does it matter with the current state of mismanaged front office blunders and offensive line play that resembles the Keystone Coppers? Simple answer is no.

Until some stability comes on both of those fronts the money is better spent rebuilding the team up front to protect the commodities throwing the ball to what should have been a scary, talent filled receiving corp.
