Memo To Jets: Stop With The Titans Uniforms!

Remember the Titans?

Why?

While the NFL has been too nostalgic these last two seasons with NFL teams wearing throwback jerseys of another era long gone bye!

Why are the Jets wearing uniforms of a team that no longer exists?

For team that played in the Polo Grounds and went 19-23 with Sammy Baugh as it's first head coach, do we really need to see these ugly blue & gold uniforms any longer?

Time to put the Titan name and uniform back in moth balls folks!

In this retro era of uniforms, why don't we see the Kansas City Chiefs masquerade as the Dallas Texans in all this nostalgic madness? Didn't Lamar Hunt move the Dallas Texans to Kansas City along with Hank Stram?

Why are the Chiefs and Kansas City fans spared the spectacle of having to watch Chief players wear Texans gear week after week?

It's bad enough being a Jet fan, but do I need to watch my team play badly in a uniform nobody recognizes? Am I to have some solace that when the Jets lose, I can't recognize the defeat?

Do I need to watch a team play in blue & gold while the rest of Meadowlands is in a sea of kelly green & white? The Jets have played 47 seasons as the Jets and just three as the Titans. Must we still be reminded of a team that practically went bankrupt with no fan base or following when known as the Titans?

These endless weekends having to watch the Jets as the Titans is beyond nauseating.

I don't know a single Jet fan that likes these uniforms or would purchase one to wear. They are a visual distraction not only for the fans, but to those calling and broadcasting a Jets game when the uniforms recollect a team that went nowhere but bust!

Please, enough with the Titan uniforms.

It's the most annoying reminder of mediocrity and failure in all of the NFL.

Give me my kelly green and white. Give me back my Jets in the appropriate uniforms come gameday!
